Juventus v Inter Milan betting preview  

Juventus have been almost faultless domestically (13W 1D 0L)

Juventus have only dropped two of the 42 points available in Serie A so far this season. The Old Lady have already amassed an 8 point gap over Napoli at the top of the table and boast the best defensive record of the Serie A with just 8 goals conceded so far. With a win in this match, Juventus would equal the best ever start by a team after the first 15 games in a season in Europe’s top-5 leagues (PSG, 43 points from 15 games). Their only competitive defeat so far coming at the hands of Manchester United in the Champions League, where they have already secured their partecipation to the knockout stage. The Bianconeri have kept a clean sheet in the last four home matches against Inter. However, the games have been getting tighter as they’ve been 3-0, 2-0, 1-0 and 0-0 chronologically.

Juventus are expected to revert back to a 4-3-3 with Miralem Pjanic returning to orchestrate the midfield. Mario Mandzukic looks sure to partner Cristiano Ronaldo up front, while Paulo Dybala should get the nod over Juan Cuadrado for the remaining attacking spot. Federico Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa are the other offensive options. Rodrigo Betancur is likely to retaining his starting berth in the middle of the park, alongside Blaise Matuidi and Miralem Pjanic. In defense, Alex Sandro missed the last game against Fiorentina with a muscle problem and will miss the big match. The Nerazzurri have a Champions League decider next week against PSV - they need to better Tottenham's result with the Spurs away at Cam Nou against Barcelona. Luciano Spalletti's men have conceded six goals in their last two away games, as many as they had shipped in their previous 12 games on the road. As to direct encounters, Inter Milan have two wins in their last 12 league games against Juventus (W2, D4, L6)

Dalbert and Radja Naninggolan remain the only injury concerns in an otherwise fully fit Inter Milan team. Joao Mario is likely to deputise for the Belgian offensive midfielder, with Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic expected to start out wide. Mauro Icardi, of course, will spearhead the attack while the likes of Keita Baldè, Antonio Candreva and Lautaro Martinez will be the back up otptions upfront. Matias Vecino will replace Borja Valero in midfield while Danilo D'Ambrosio and Sime Vrsaljko are in contention for the right back spot. Stefan De Vrij should continue to partner Milan Skriniar at the heart of the back.
