FA Cup Schedule 

The schedule often remains similar across seasons, with the competition sticking to a traditional pattern, with the exception of the FA Cup Final which has been moved to a later 5.15pm slot in recent years.

The tournament itself kicks off in early August when the Extra Preliminary rounds get underway, all in the hope they’ll receive vital income from making it through a few rounds.

That prize money gets bigger, with lower league teams desperate to meet a big side in the famous Third Round in early January. From there it really is a race to Wembley ahead of the Final in mid-May.
