TURNERS NOVICES CHASE BETTING PREVIEW
The Turners Novice Chase was a brand new edition to the Cheltenham Festival in 2011 and was known as JTL Novices' Chase and Marsh Novices' Chase in the past years. Although young, the Turners Novices' Chase has quickly become an important part of the Cheltenham Festival and we expect to continue to see that over the coming years. It's a Grade 1 chase run over two miles and four furlongs, for horses aged five years and upwards, with a prize money of £150,000.

Who will win the Turners Novices' Chase 2024?
FACILE VEGA is another Closutton talent who looks set to head here after lacking the speed for two miles over fences. He appeared to have the world at his feet. Unbeaten in six career starts - three at Grade 1 level, and the apple of his master trainer’s eye but the 2023 Dublin Racing Festival (DRF) proved that he is not unbeatable and is as vulnerable to an ‘off day’ as any other horse.GREY DAWNING looked a really smart prospect over fences with an impressive two wins from four outings, the latest being a Grade Two victory at Warwick. Dan Skelton's charge possesses a huge engine and would likely have beaten Ginny's Destiny over C&D had he not made an error 2 out.
Paul Nicholls' won this race 12 months ago with Stage Star, and GINNY'S DESTINY has been taken down the same route this season. This horse has now won three in a row going into this race making it three from four over fences this season alone. He has improved with every start, faster than the handicapper has been putting him up. His jumping is very assured, and he is thoroughly proven at Cheltenham having beaten Grey Dawning over Course and Distance.

Dark Horses?
Gordon Elliott’s ZANAHIYR got off the mark over fences in two-mile maiden at Thurles last month, holding off Aspire Tower by half-a-length.
Venetia William's DJELO won his first three chases, including a six-length victory at Ascot in December before coming down at the first in a Lingfield Grade 2 in January. The six-year-old got back on track to a degree when finishing runner-up in the Scilly Isles at Sandown few weeks ago.
SHARJAH, a 11-year-old for Willie Mullins, has come to chasing quite late in his career. Since switching to fences, he has won twice, at Galway and Tipperary, with the latter being a Grade Three novice. He finished fourth in the Irish Arkle at Leopardstown last month.
COLONEL HARRY was a bit lucky to win the four-runner Towton Novices' Chase at Wetherby in January, after mistakes from Trelawne. He was last seen when soundly beaten by 29 lengths in the Scilly Isles at Sandown (Grade 1).
