BetBuilder Sites - How To Build Your Own Custom Bets

We all could do with a little hand when building our bets every now and again. Working out odds when there’s multiple wagers involved can be tough! Luckily more and more bookies are starting to offer bet builders, helping you place the exact type of wager you wish. Below you’ll find our complete guide to bet builders including what they are, the bookmakers that offer them and the best ways to play BetBuilders.

What Is A Bet Builder?

A Bet Builder is ultimately what it says on the tin. It’s a function that allows you to build bets using multiple markets.

This is usually three markets, although you can go much higher, such as the match result, goalscorer and number of goals. However, as it’s your bet, this could be almost any market.

A good number of bookmakers are now offering this, and will almost certainly save you time when it comes to creating your bet.

The odds will then be calculated automatically by the bookmaker and quickly allow you to place your bet.

It’s a similar function to request-a-bets which many online bookmakers now offer, with Bet365 having the most popular Bet Builder around.

This will usually only be available on limited markets, and is generally most popular in football betting.

How To Use A Bet Builder

Using a Bet Builder is relatively simple as all it really requires is to enter the markets you wish to play into the Bet Builder.

The Bet Builder should automatically update your odds as you submit your markets allowing you then to place your bets at the end.

Bookmakers Offering A Bet Builder

Bet365 BetBuilder

It’s a real game changer by bet365, which allows you to build a bet on any football match across a number of markets.

These markets include:
-    Match Result (Full Time or Half Time)
-    Both Teams to Score
-    Number of Goals Scored
-    Goalscorer Markets (First Goalscorer, Anytime Scorer, Last Goalscorer, 2 or More, 3 or More)
-    Corners
-    Cards (Total Number, Players Booked or Sent Off, Booking Points)
-    To Qualify or Win Trophy

You can choose up to six markets to include in the Bet Builder and can be simply added by clicking ‘Add Selection’.

To play and build a bet, simply head to the football match in which you wish to place a bet and click the Bet Builder feature.

Request-a-Bets & Other Bet Builders

Betsafe and SportingBet are betting companies who also offer a Build a Bet service, again only available on football markets.

It works in exactly the same manner as the bet365 and both are also becoming increasingly popular.

For the most part, bookmakers bet building services are enjoyed via social media and isn’t strictly exclusive to football.

The likes of Coral’s #YourCall, BetVictor’s #PriceItUp and William Hill’s #YourOdds all work in the same way, with you simply having to tweet the bookmaker using the hashtag along with the bet you wish to make.

How To Request-a-Bet

To build a bet using a request-a-bet, simply take the following steps:

  1. Log in to your betting account
  2. Tweet the bookmaker using their handle and the relevant hashtag along with the odds you’d like to receive
  3. The bookmaker will reply with your odds along with a unique link for you to place your bet
  4. Click the link and place your bet.

When To Use A Bet Builder

Of course the more markets you add to a bet, the riskier that bet becomes.

It’s important to study the markets carefully and analyse the teams you wish to bet on in order to make a more accurate prediction.

The likes of the Goals Expected function is ideal to use for the Goalscorer market, while researching the likes of bookings is always a good idea before placing bets on the Cards market.
