Arsenal will have to make do without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the next three matches as the Gabonian striker was sent out last time out. Alexandre Lacazette is expected to lead the line while youngsters Reiss Nelson and Gabriel Martinelli are in contention for a place in the offensive midfield trio alongside Mesut Ozil and Nicolas Pepe. Bukayo Saka could be asked to deputise at left-back since Sead Kolasinac is not 100% fit. Calum Chambers, Kieran tierney and Lucas Torreira remain out through injury while Hector Bellerin is a major doubt.
The visitors have no fresh doubts ahead of the match at the Emirates as reserve goalkeepers Simon Moore and Michael Verrips are the only injury concerns. John Lundstram was substituted after a below-par second-half performance against West Ham last Friday. As a result, Mo Besic could be given a rare start in midfield. Lys Mousset and Oli McBurnie are expected to be paired up front, with David McGoldrick as back-up option. Callum Robinson and Billy Sharp are further options in attack and one or both could very well come into the reckoning. No changes are expected in centre back and wing back roles.

Arsenal v Sheffield UTD betting preview
Arsenal have won just one of their last seven home league games (D3 L3)
The Gunners still aren’t setting the world alight, but the performance levels have certainly improved under Mikel Arteta. After a 1-2 home defeat at the hands of Chelsea, the Gunners have beaten both Manchester UTD (2-0) and Leeds UTD (1-0) at home and shared the spoils with Crystal Palace (1-1 at Selhurst Park) last time out. Despite that, they still sit just seven points clear of the relegation zone. The Gunners have conceded no goals in the last two outings at the Emirates but they haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last nine league meetings with newly promoted sides.Arsenal will have to make do without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the next three matches as the Gabonian striker was sent out last time out. Sheff UTD boast the third best defensive record on the road
Sheffield UTD enter this game on the back of two consecutive victories as a 2-1 success over AFC Flyde in the FA Cup 3rd was followed by a home win over West Ham (1-0) in Premier League with VAR ruling out Robert Snodgrass’ last gasp equaliser. The Blades have suffered back to back defeats on their travels - both 2:0 at Man City and Liverpool - but those were their only two losses of their 11 games on the road. They have conceded just seven times in nine other away fixtures. Chris Wilder's men sit 6th in the top flight standings, and kick off this game four points ahead of Arsenal and two points behind Manchester United. In the reverse match, Sheff UTD beat 1-0 Arsenal at Bramall Lane courtesy of a goal scored by Lys Mousset. The visitors have no fresh doubts ahead of the match at the Emirates as reserve goalkeepers Simon Moore and Michael Verrips are the only injury concerns.
