Arsenal v PSG betting preview
Arsenal outplayed Atletico Madrid and are favourites to win hereArsenal have won one and drawn one of their two pre-season games so far. They beat National League side Boreham Wood 8-0 ahead of the club's trip to the Far East. In the first ICC game, the Gunners drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid before eventually losing out 1-3 in a penalty shoot-out. The north Londoners should have taken more from an encounter they dominated for stretches. These two sides have faced each other four times, with Arsenal winning three times and PSG winning once.
Manager Unai Emery is likely to name a similar line up to the one that faced Atletico with Lacazette and Aubameyang retaining their places in the team. 17-year-old Emile Smith Rowe, who scored his team's only goal against Atletico, is likely to be benched. New signings Stephan Lichsteiner and Lucas Torreira are likely to be on show, whilst Mesut Ozil will feature as wll as German keeper Bernd Leno. World Cup reduces Mohamed Elneny and Alex Iwobi are expected to play at some stage.
PSG are missing 12 senior players and will field a very young lineupPSG have made managerial changes this summer. Unay Emery left PSG by mutual consent in May and now the team is managed by Thomas Tuchel. Les Parisiens were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in their first ICC friendly. They took the lead through Timothy Weah but were ultimately let down by some poor defending. Prior to that, they suffered a 4-2 defeat against Chambly and narrowly beat 1-0 Sainte-Genevieve.
PSG are still without Neymar, Edinson Cavani, Marquinhos and Thiago Silva, all of whom are on holiday following their World Cup exertions while World Cup winners Kylian Mbappe, Presnel Kimpembe and Alphonse Areola won't be on the tour of Asia at all. That leaves the French champions with a rather experimental squad to play with in pre-season. Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon could be between the sticks. He will probably be the only senior player in the starting XI alongside midfielder Adrien Rabiot, wingers Christopher Nkunku and Jesè Rodriguez.
