The 2012 Six Nations championship returns this weekend and England welcome Wales to Twickenham in one of the biggest international rivalries in the world. 2012 SIX NATIONS - ENGLAND vs WALES: MATCH PREVIEWEngland aren’t having the best Six Nations, with luck helping them beat a stubborn Scotland at Murrayfield, and another fortuitous moment helping them to a victory over Italy in Rome after trailing at half time.

Wales, meanwhile, looked like a championship winning unit when they put away Scotland. Johnatan Davies once again put his hand up as a likely Wales selection at midfield, and the sheer volume of talent in the squad has produced a side bursting with confidence and willing to play attacking rugby.

England side is still very much work-in-progress, whereas the Welsh side is very much settled and will be full-strength on Saturday with a significant advantage in experience in key areas. Wales is excellent at breaking the tackle and getting across the advantage line, and the smaller England backline will need to step up their performances to date if they're to nullify the threat posed from the likes of George North, Alex Cuthbert and Jamie Roberts.

Leicester centre Manu Tuilagi has recovered from a hamstring injury and will feature. Tigers team-mate Toby Flood is also in line for a recall having kicked four penalties in his club side’s 20-19 win over Saracens on Sunday. Scrum-half Lee Dickson and number eight Ben Morgan could also start after impressing from the replacements’ bench in Italy.

Wales also get some players back: captain Sam Warburton is ready to step back into action, Ken Owens and Alun Wyn Jones also come back into the side, as Ryan Jones drops to the bench, but the hooker Huw Bennett is out. Gatland has called hooker Richard Hibbard into their squad to replace Bennett.

The two nations played a couple of tests in August of last year, with the two sides trading victories. England took a 26-19 victory in Cardiff at the start of last season’s Six Nations, and Wales’ only victory at Twickenham in the last twenty five years was a 26-19 win in the 2008 Six Nations.
