MANCHESTER CITY vs TOTTENHAM: MATCH PREVIEWSaturday's 1-1 draw at home to Wolves was tough for the Spurs faithful, but add in wins for the two Manchester clubs and it became a really bitter pill to swallow. City kept a rare clean sheet at Wigan on Monday night, but Stefan Savic has looked unconvincing and Vincent Kompany's absence will be felt against the better teams.

With skipper Vincent Kompany still suspended for his red card against Manchester United in the FA Cup, youngster Stefan Savic is set to continue in the Belgian's place at center-half alongside Joleon Lescott. Samir Nasri will replace the absent Yaya Toure at the head of the central midfield, while Edin Dzeko's winner against Wigan is expected to earn him a spot in the eleven, with Sergio Aguero playing behind the Bosnian.

Tottenham welcomed back Scott Parker for the visit of Wolves, and after completing the game unscathed the midfielder is a surety to line up in tandem with Luka Modric in the Spurs midfield. Aaron Lennon is fit as well, meaning that Rafael Van der Vaart will be allowed to start in his preferred free role behind the striker. A With William Gallas and Ledley King still sidelined, Michael Dawson will partner Younes Kaboul at the back.

Emmanuel Adebayor currently leads the Tottenham scoring charts in the Premier League with nine goals this season. Unfortunately for Spurs fans, he is only on loan from Manchester City and therefore is unable to play against his parent club.
