MANCHESTER CITY vs BAYERN MUNCHEN: MATCH PREVIEW- City have to beat Bayern Munich at Eastlands and hope Napoli fail to win away to Villarreal, who have lost all five matches and scored just 2 goals in those five matches. Anyway, Petersen is expected to be in the starting XI.

- Heinckes' men have moved away from the rigid 4-4-2 that was employed by Louis vaan Gaal and have employed a more fluid formation with three attackers behind Gomez. Bastian Schweinsteiger holds the midfield together and his absence through injury has unsurprisingly coincided with their league losses over the past few weeks.

- The good thing for City is Bayern is not in the shape from the start of the season and latest results in matches with Dortmund and Mainz in Bundesliga are good example as they lost both. City is big favorite in this match and in our opinion. All they can do is win, and hope.
