ICELAND v HUNGARY BETTING PREVIEW
Iceland took on Group F favourites Portugal in their opening match and recorded a well deserved 1-1 draw. Their opponents took the lead on 31 minutes thanks to Nani but the equalised just after the break through a well-taken volley by midfielder Birkir Bjarnason. Iceland did extremely well to contain Cristiano Ronaldo depsite they conceded more than 70% of ball possession to Portugal.The Icelanders are unlikely to make wholesale changes to their side. Manager Lars Lagerback has the option of selecting Augsburg striker Alfred Finnbogason up front to replace Kolbeinn Sigthorsson or Jan Dadi Bodvarsson. Hungary got off on the right foot this Tuesday by defeating Austria, 2-0. They took the lead through Adam Szalai on 62 minutes sealed their historic win in stoppage-time through Zoltan Stieber after Dragovic's sending off reduced the Austrains to ten men. By picking up another three points, of course, the Hungarians would be guaranteed their place in the last 16 with a match remaining of the group stage. They have won their last 4 matches against Iceland in all competitions.
Hungary could line up in the same XI that secured an impressive 2-0 win over Austria earlier in the week. Anyway, Zoltan Stieber impressed off the bench for Hungary in victory over Austria and may hope to take the place of Zoltan Gera. Defender Attila Fiola is doubtful and full-back Gergo Lovrencsics is also expected to miss out.
