CHELSEA v EVERTON BETTING PREVIEW 

Chelsea lost their opening match at home this term, going down 3-2 against Burnley two weeks ago but secured a surprising victory over Tottenham at Wembley (1-2) thanks to a Marcos Alonso double. The first success of the campaign should have boosted their confidence considerably and they are expected to put the memory of that shock home loss to Burnley behind them. The Blues won both matches between these clubs last season by an 8-0 aggregate score, including a 5-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Conte will again be without the suspended Gary Cahill, but Pedro could be ready to make his first start of the season. The Spaniard will partner Willian behind the lone striker Alvaro Morata, with Michy Batshuayi another option. Eden Hazard has been called up to the Belgium national team, but Conte has confirmed he will play not part against Everton. David Luiz could drop back into defence as Cesc Fabregas is available again following his one-match ban. Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso will play as wing-backs as usual.



After narrowly beating 1-0 Stoke City in their league opener, Everton were close to a terrific away victory against Manchester City last Monday but conceded a late goal, picking up only a 1-1 draw. The Toffees managed to qualify for the Europa League group stage by recording a 1-1 away draw against Hajduk Split last Thursday, remaining unbeaten in all competitions this season. They beat the Croatian outift 2-0 at Goodison Park in the first leg. Everton have a poor head-to-head record against the Blues - thave failed to win any of their last 22 Premier League visits to Chelsea, losing 12 of them.

Ronald Koeman will be without the suspended Morgan Schneiderlin and the injured Davy Klaassen. Up front, Sandro Ramirez remains a doubt, so Dominic Calvert-Lewin may continue in attack, with Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson perhaps tucked in behind. The likes of Tom Davies could join Gueye in central midfield, with Mason Holgate and Leighton Baines continuing in the wing-back roles. James McCarthy, Yannick Bolasie, Seamus Coleman, Ross Barkley and Ramiro Funes Mori are all sidelined for the Toffees.
