BOSNIA vs PORTUGAL : MATCH PREVIEW- Safet Susic's boys performed very well in qualifying and even managed to take the lead in the Stade de France through Edin Dzeko, before France equalised last on from the penalty spot, ensuring their spot at Euro 2012. Susic usually opts for a 4-2-3-1 with Miralem Pjanic, Zvjezdan Misimovic and Senad Lulic (who is starring for Lazio) just behind lone striker Dzeko. The Manchester City hitman plays an important role in Susic's attack and Bosnia will rely on his goals to fire them to Euro 2012.

- Bosnia's first home match of the qualifying group stage saw them go down 2-0 to France and in the end, that proved to be crucial. They subsequently reeled off four straight home wins against the lesser lights of their group, beating Romania 2-1, Albania 2-0, Belarus 1-0 and Luxembourg 5-0.

- Portugal reached playoffs by goal difference. Theycame in second place in Group H, which was one of the closest in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. They had a shot at taking the group, but blew it on the last day by losing 2-1 in Denmark, who won the group with 19 points.

- Portugal won two and lost two of their four group matches away from home. They were badly out of sorts when they went down 1-0 in Norway but wins in Iceland (3-1) and Cyprus (4-0) formed part of their recovery before the aforementioned defeat in Denmark. Their eight group matches were generally high scoring with six delivering a total of at least three goals and they weren't quite as solid at the back as you would expect, keeping just two clean sheets.

- Portugal manager Paulo Bento has just received some bad news as both Danny and Silvio have been ruled out so he decided to call two new players after the pair was ruled out through injury, with PAOK midfielder Vieirinha and Malaga’s Eliseu called as replacements.. He has also recalled Hugo Almeida, Fabio Coentrao and Pepe to the 23-man squad for the games after they missed the last two group qualifying games. Defender Jose Bosingwa of Chelsea was left out of the squad.

- Bosnia will be missing Mensur Mujdza as he’s sidelined with an injury and they’ll also be without Sasa Papac and Boris Pandza for the first game as they’re both suspended. Sanel Jahic and Muhamed Besic were both recalled to the squad and Asmir Begovic should start both games in goal.

- Portugal are favorites to advance, but they'd be happy to go away with a draw from the away leg. Bosnia is not an easy place to go and a hostile atmosphere will make it difficult for Portugal's flair players to express themselves.
